Sock manufacturing FAQ: what is the minimum order?
Our minimum order starts at 1,000 pairs. The workable allocation across designs, colours and sizes is reviewed during quotation. Include a proposed breakdown so our team can confirm the scope clearly.
What is your monthly production capacity?
Our monthly production capacity is one million pairs. The production schedule for your order depends on its specification, material availability and planning. We confirm timing for the actual project instead of publishing a single lead time for every product.
Can you manufacture every sock category?
We manufacture across everyday, dress, sports, fashion, children’s, grip and outdoor categories, and review specialist technical briefs. Material, construction and testing feasibility are confirmed for each project. Medical and other regulated claims require separate review.
Can I use my own brand and packaging?
Yes. Private label inquiries can include your design, knitted branding, labels and retail packaging. Send the relevant artwork and packaging specification. The approved sample and final files become the benchmark for production.
What should I send for a quotation?
Send the category, material preference, size range, quantity, colour breakdown and delivery country. Add a reference product, technical requirements and packaging details if available. Use our inquiry form or email sales@elbasocks.com.
How do I request certification documents?
State which standards your sourcing team requires and whether the request concerns the facility, product or material. We can provide the relevant current documentation for review. Always confirm scope and validity for the proposed order.
Can I begin with a reference image rather than a technical pack?
Yes. Send the image with an explanation of the features you want to develop, such as height, cushioning, pattern or hand feel. A photograph cannot define the complete yarn composition or dimensions, so the product specification still needs to be agreed. Tell us which decisions are fixed and which are open to development. A physical sample can provide a useful additional reference.
How is the production schedule agreed?
Include your target arrival date and delivery destination in the inquiry. The schedule depends on the construction, material requirements, sampling and approvals, as well as the order allocation. We review timing for the confirmed brief. Changes after approval may require a revised plan. Capacity of one million pairs per month does not mean every new order is immediately available for dispatch.
Can a single collection use several materials?
A collection can include different constructions and material programmes, subject to review of the specification and quantities. List each proposed style separately and explain which colours or sizes share the same construction. This helps the quotation reflect the actual range. Fibre declarations and certification-related claims should be checked for each applicable product.
What should I keep for a repeat order?
Retain the approved product code, sample reference, technical pack and packaging artwork. Quote these details when requesting replenishment and list any changes to yarn, colour, size allocation, packaging or destination. A clear reference makes it easier to assess the new order against the previous specification.
Where does my inquiry go?
Website inquiries are recorded in a private area of the ELBASOCKS WordPress administration and sent to sales@elbasocks.com. Required fields help the team review the manufacturing brief. If you prefer to write directly, use the same sales address and include the category, quantity, size range and destination. Do not submit confidential information that is unnecessary for a first quotation.
Plan your manufacturing brief
Share your intended use, target customer, material preferences, size range and quantity. Minimum orders start at 1,000 pairs; the design, colour and size allocation is confirmed during quotation. Specify your destination market and required testing so the project can be reviewed as a complete product.
Use our manufacturing inquiry form, explore private label production or read the sock tech pack guide. For compliance information see quality and certifications.
For the official explanation of textile harmful-substance testing, see OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100. Programme information does not replace reviewing the current certificate and product scope for your order.
Use this sock manufacturing FAQ to prepare your category, quantity, materials and destination before contacting our team. If your question is not covered in the sock manufacturing FAQ, include it in the project details field so it can be reviewed with your actual specification.
